I live in Bishopstone, just on the very south border of the Weobley ward, with my wife, a doctor at Hereford County Hospital, our two young children, and what feels like an ever changing menagerie of animals. We have a small-holding, with low density stock, where we are trying to improve the environmental health of our land, while making sure that our children understand rural life.
While the role of a county councillor is supposed to be something that can be done alongside a day job, I'm focusing on this in a full time sense - there's just so much to do. But before this I've had a very varied career; I ran a data science company, advising charities and political parties on how to use data well and correctly; prior to that I spent over a decade working in charity strategy, data and fundraising, for organisations as diverse as the Royal National Institute of Blind People, and Amnesty International; and in my early career I worked for IBM, Rothschilds, and Citibank.
I was educated at Oxford University and then later at both London and Bayes Business Schools, where, respectively, I studied for an MBA and a postgrad in charity management.
