There was a regular flooding incident around Arrow Cottage. Much of the reason for this we believe was the water coming from the south, down the hill, completely overwhelming the existing system and coming onto the road... and then into houses. Works undertaken in September 2025 have restored the drainage to the south, then under the road, and down to the brook.
