Problems in Chapel Orchard

Having raised my concerns on the back of what I saw last week (not just Burton wood, but also Burton Crescent, Burton Gardens, and Chapel Orchard) I am waiting for an officer of Herefordshire Council and/or from Balfour Beatty to meet me on site to look at the works undertaken.

There are a number of issues with which I am unhappy; the quality of work is very poor - water mains being tarmacked over, very shoddy edging, poor grading etc (although a lot is being rectified by the use of new sub-contractors, MS Shaw). But also the specification in some cases seems wrong - for instance installing pavings between drives and pavements which mean that the drives are going to form puddles, and be destroyed in flooding. But probably most importantly is the question as to what is to be done about the state of the roads themselves.
