Flooding on the "Stockings turn", on the road from Weobley towards Dilwyn, had been a long-standing problem for years, but in the winter of 2024 the road was flooded for a number of months. This was causing enormous damage to the road surface, and indeed to any vehicles trying to pass. We eventually had to close the road and then after a lot of investigation, and working with James Verdin / The Garnstone Estate, we were eventually able to get it repaired. Hopefully that will do the job for years to come!
